DECIDED: That the Minute be approved.
Presentation by Programme Manager - Community Asset Transfer & Regeneration.

The Programme Manager – Community Asset Transfer & Regeneration delivered a presentation providing an overview of the Community Asset Transfer process, the aims, objectives and benefits of Community Asset Transfer, the criteria for eligibility for community groups, types of assets which could be transferred, local examples of community asset transfers, together with details of funding and support available.  The Programme Manager responded to questions regarding the presentation.

DECIDED: That the presentation be noted.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive, Renfrewshire Council relative to the funds allocated by this Local Partnership, the Celebrating Renfrewshire grant allocations and the activity funded by this Local Partnership by the Winter Connections Fund for 2025/26 together with details on the 2026/27 Local Partnership funding round launched on 29 January 2026. The report also provided information in relation to the Scottish Parliament elections which would take place on 7 May 2026.

DECIDED: That the budget monitoring report and updates on Winter Connections and the Scottish Parliamentary elections and constituencies be noted.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive, Renfrewshire Council relative to applications received for Local Partnership funding 2025/26. The report intimated that the balance of funding available was £3,000.

Following discussion, it was agreed that the applications be awarded as detailed:

FR1118 - Brookfield SWI – awarded £350
FR1187 - Kilbarchan Community Council – awarded £1,850
FR1091 - Howwood Community Council – awarded £800

DECIDED: That it be agreed to award the grant applications as detailed above.
5 The Villages Local Partnership Priorities
Workshop Discussion.

The Connected Communities Manager led a workshop discussion on the refresh of the Partnership’s local priorities and business for future meetings of the Local Partnership. The Connected Communities Manager summarised the discussions and advised that an update report would be submitted to the next meeting for approval. 

DECIDED: That it be noted that an update report would be submitted to the next meeting of the Local Partnership.
