Verbal Update by A McNiven. Presentation by R Said.

R Said gave a presentation which outlined In-Ren (Integration Network in Renfrewshire). She advised that In-Ren was a collaborative, vibrant and passionate group of people that came from different third sector organisations in order to deliver activities, support communities and provide services to a very diverse range of people in Renfrewshire. The presentation highlighted the strategic priorities and actions and outlined the next steps.

Volunteering in Renfrewshire - Hurdles and Aims
Update by R McCulloch, Engage Renfrewshire.

R McCulloch gave a presentation relative to volunteering and the Volunteer Managers Forum. She gave a brief overview of the service and the aim of the service.

Renfrewshire Community Transport
Verbal Update by C Forbes, CEO, ROAR.

C Forbes gave an update on the Renfrew Community Transport project. She advised that the website was up and running and the service was up and running. Community Groups were using the facility which was working well. Membership is growing and they are looking to get a second bus. They are continuing to look at additional funding sources but the project is going in the right direction. She asked members to share the information and make people aware of the service.

Local Health Engagement
Verbal presentation by A McNiven, Engage Renfrewshire.

A McNiven intimated that the Health & Social Care Partnership had a new Chief Executive, Mr Billy McLean, and advised that as a member of the IJB Board he had a meeting with the Chief Executive and some service providers which covered a wide-range of topics such as mental health, well-being, employment, family and older people. A McNiven advised that the meeting was very productive.
