There was submitted the Minute of the meeting of this Local Partnership held on 24 April 2025.

DECIDED: That the Minute be approved.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to an update on the Partnership’s local development programme and the Celebrating Renfrewshire programme for 2025/26.

DECIDED: That the infographic and budget monitoring report be noted.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to applications for Local Partnership funding 2025/26.

The report advised that at the Renfrew Local Partnership meeting on 24 April 2025 £130,112.39 was awarded from a budget of £134,703 and this left a total budget available for allocation by Renfrew Local Partnership of £4,590.61.  

It was highlighted that an email was sent to all Local Partnership members after the Local Partnership meeting on 24 April 2026 regarding two applications from Renfrew Development Trust that were not presented to the Local Partnership meeting in April due to a combined technical issue and an administrative error.  The reported noted that the Local Partnership members agreed by email to award FR1168 - Renfrew Development Trust, Renfrew Men’s Shed, £7,500 and FR1169 - Renfrew Development Trust, Renfrew Heritage Group, £1,700 to be taken from the remaining 2024/25 budget and the balance of the award to be taken from the 2026/27 Local Partnership budget.

It was also agreed that the undernoted application be awarded as detailed:

FR1178 - Renfrew Burgh Band, Working with the Renfrew community to bring music to all - £2,059.00.  This award was to be deducted from the 2026/27 budget.  It was noted that the balance of the 2025/26 Local Partnership fund was now £0.00 and the deductions from the 2026/27 budget was £6,668.39.
 
DECIDED:

(a) That Renfrew Local Partnership homologate the awards as set out in section 1.3 of the report; 

(b) That it be agreed to award the grant application as set out in Appendix 1; and

(c) That the additional funding proposals presented at the meeting be agreed.

A presentation was given by K Milliken, Renfrew Development Trust in relation to the Place Plan.  Areas highlighted in the presentation included why Local Place Plans matter; Renfrew’s approach; timescales; and the next steps.

DECIDED:  That the presentation be noted.

A presentation was given by Matt Beddow, Senior Director, Asset Management, Pradera Lateral in relation to developments at Braehead, Xsite and the Braehead Arena.

Areas highlighted in the presentation included the Braehead ambition; use of the space at Xsite; and the next steps.
