There was submitted the Minute of the meeting of this Local Partnership held on 21 August 2025.

DECIDED: That the Minute be approved.
Report by Chief Executive.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to the funds allocated by this Local Partnership and the Celebrating Renfrewshire budget for 2024/25.

The report intimated that Johnstone and Area Community Transport had withdrawn their application for funding as they had ceased trading and there was now a balance of £3,000 in the General Grant Fund. It was noted that applications for Local Partnership funding were currently being processed and that these would be submitted to the next meeting of the Local Partnership for consideration.

The report further intimated that Elderslie Community Council had requested to repurpose unspent grants FR1172 from 2021/22 and FR1085 2023/24 to deliver community projects planned within 2025/26.

Following discussion, it was agreed that the Local Partnerships Development Officer provide information to members on the take-up of the £50 expenses available to community representative members. 

DECIDED

(a) That the report be noted;

(b) That it be noted that applications for Local Partnership were currently being processed and that these would be submitted to the next meeting of the Local Partnership for consideration;

(c) That it be agreed that Elderslie Community Council be authorised to repurpose unspent grants FR1172 from 2021/22 and FR1085 2023/24 to deliver community projects planned within 2025/26; and

(d) That the Local Partnerships Development Officer provide information to members on the take-up of the £50 expenses available to community representatives.

The Senior Economic Development Officer gave a presentation in relation to the Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Action Group which included information on the eligibility criteria for funding, the application and decision-making processes and examples of the projects supported by the Group.

DECIDED: That the presentation be noted.

There was submitted a report by the Director of Finance & Resources relative to proposed meeting dates of this Local Partnership in 2026.

DECIDED: That meetings of this Local Partnership be held remotely on MS Teams at 6.00 pm on 19 February, 28 May, 17 September and 19 November 2026.
