There was submitted the Minute of the meeting of this Local Partnership held on 19 August 2025.

DECIDED:  That the Minute be approved.
 
Report by Chief Executive.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to the funds allocated by this Local Partnership in 2024/25 and the current budget position.

With reference to item 5 of the meeting of the Johnstone & Linwood Local Area Partnership held on 19 August 2025, it had been agreed to consider granting the  remaining balance of funds amounting to  £1249 to the Celebrating Renfrewshire Fund.  The Partnership Manager advised that in line with the Local Area Partnership’s priorities, funds should be granted to groups involved in Youth Projects, and that the Local Partnership should consider awarding these funds to a suitable group.

Councillor Audrey Doig, seconded by Councillor Chris Gilmour proposed that the remaining £1249 be granted to St Vincent’s Hospice, after discussion between Members, it was agreed unanimously that £1249 be granted to St Vincent’s Hospice.

DECIDED: 

(a) That the report be noted; and

(b) That the remaining balance of £1249 be granted to St Vincent’s Hospice.
 
Presentation by Civil Contingencies Service Manager.

The Civil Contingencies Service Manager was unable to attend the meeting and give this presentation to Members, the Local Partnerships Development Officer advised that this presentation would be continued to a future meeting of the Johnstone & Linwood Local Area Partnership.

DECIDED:
That the presentation be continued to a future meeting of the Johnstone & Linwood Local Area Partnership.
 
Presentation by You First Advocacy.

The representative of You First Advocacy was unable to attend the meeting and give this presentation to Members.  The Partnership Manager advised that this presentation would be continued to a future meeting of the Johnstone & Linwood Local Area Partnership.

That the presentation be continued to a future meeting of the Johnstone & Linwood Local Area Partnership.

There was submitted a report by the Director of Finance & Resources relative to the dates of meetings of this Partnership for 2026.

Councillor Audrey Doig, seconded by Councillor Andy Doig, moved that:
Meetings of the Johnstone Local Partnership continue to be held online via Teams at 6.00 pm on 3 February, 12 May, 1 September and 3 November 2026.

Councillor Gilmour, seconded by Councillor McMillan, moved as an amendment that:
Meetings of the Johnstone Local Partnership on 3 February, 1 September and 3 November 2026 be held remotley and that the meeting of 12 May 2026 be held in person.

4 members having voted for the amendment and 8 members having voted for the motion, the motion was carried.

DECIDED: That meetings of the Johnstone Local Partnership continue to be held online via Teams at 6.00 pm on 3 February, 12 May, 1 September and 3 November 2026.
