There was submitted the Minute of the meeting of this Local Partnership held on 5 December 2024.
DECIDED: That the Minute be approved.
Presentation by Civil Contingencies Manager.

There was delivered a presentation by the Civil Contingencies Manager relative to the work of the Civil Contingencies service.
Areas covered in the presentation included resilience in communities, emergency preparedness, national and local risks, recent incidents, resilience structure, statutory duties, risk register, support for responses, recovering from incidents, ready for winter and winter connections bases.
The Civil Contingencies Manager responded to questions from members including the availability of lists of emergency contact numbers for elected members to circulate to constituents and the cancellation of radio frequencies which might affect communications and electricity meters.
DECIDED:
(a) That the presentation be noted;
(b) That the Civil Contingencies Manager arrange for the circulation of emergency contact numbers to elected members and ROAR for them to circulate to constituents and service users;
(c) That the Civil Contingencies Manager arrange for the circulation of the Resilience Plan to Members; and
(d) That the Civil Contingencies Manager advise elected members of the effects of the cancellation of radio frequencies.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to an update on various items of business relevant to the Johnstone and Linwood Local Partnership. Updates were provided in respect of the current budget position, local priorities 2024 and grant awards allocated during 2024/25.
DECIDED: That the budget monitoring report be noted.
