There was no appearance by the applicant. The application was considered in the absence of Mr Edgar. A representative of Police Scotland was heard. On hearing the reasons for the lateness of the objection, the Convener proposed that the objection be taken into account when the application was considered. This was agreed unanimously. Following an adjournment, in terms of Standing Order 59 Councillor McNaughtan moved that the application be refused. This was agreed unanimously.

The Board considered the possible suspension or revocation of the undernoted licence:-

The licence holder, having been duly cited, was in attendance and was heard in relation to this matter. A representative of Police Scotland was also in attendance. The Managing Solicitor (Licensing) advised that Mr Traynor's licence had expired and that no renewal application had been received. Mr Traynor intimated that he would no longer be operating as a Private Hire Car Driver.
DECIDED: That it be noted that Mr Traynor’s licence had expired and that he would no longer be operating as a Private Hire Car Driver.
