There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to an update on various items of business relevant to the Johnstone and Linwood Local Partnership.
Updates were provided in respect of the current budget position, local priorities 2024, grant awards allocated 2024/25, the recent appointment of the Local Partnerships Development Officer and the Winter Connections Programme.
DECIDED:
(a) That the refreshed priorities for Johnstone and Linwood Local Partnership be agreed; and
(b) That the budget monitoring report be noted.

Presentation by Community Justice Lead Officer.

J Gardyne, Community Justice Lead Officer, Chief Executive’s, gave a presentation on Community Justice in Renfrewshire.
The presentation outlined the early release of prisoners; advised of prison officer’s views; highlighted the benefits of community justice; and detailed activity within Renfrewshire which included early measures, supporting community sentences.
The Community Justice Lead Officer provided updates on the key points identified and responded to points raised.
DECIDED: That the content of the presentation be noted and that the presentation slides be sent to all Members for their information.

There was submitted a report by the Director of Finance & Resources relative to the dates of meetings of this Partnership for 2025.
DECIDED: That meetings of the Johnstone Local Partnership continue to be held online via Teams at 6.00 pm on 18 February, 6 May, 19 August and 18 November 2025.
