There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to applications for grant funding from Gleniffer Local Partnership.
The report advised that a budget of £52,214 had been allocated to Gleniffer Local Partnership for 2021/22, being £43,064 from the General Fund and £9,150 from the Paisley Common Good Fund. In addition, it was noted that Youth Challenge Funds of £19,861 for 2021/22 and the carry forward of £5,975 from 2020/21 would be distributed via Celebrating Renfrewshire’s participatory budgeting exercise in autumn 2021.
Appendix 1 to the report listed the amount of local grant funding requested by each applicant with direct reference to local priorities, or with a partial reference to local priorities or with no reference to local priorities.
Appendix 2 to the report provided a summary of each application for local grant funding.
It was proposed and agreed unanimously that:
(i)
all requests for funding under £1,000 be approved;
(ii)
all requests for funding with direct reference to local priorities be approved up to a maximum limit of £2,000;
(iii)
all requests for funding with a partial reference to local priorities be approved, up to a maximum limit of £1,000; and
(iv)
awards made this year to recipients of awards in 2020/21 be subject to receipt of feedback on the projects delivered to local communities in 2020/21.
