DECIDED: That the Minute be approved.

The Partnership Manager advised members that this guidance had still to be approved at the Leadership Board and that a presentation on this would be made to a future meeting of the Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership.  Following approval at board, arrangements would be made to circulate this guidance to all members of this Local Partnership by email.

DECIDED:  That once approved at Leadership Board, the Village Investment Fund Guidance be circulated, by email, to members of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive which provided details of funding allocated by Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership from the General Grant Fund and through a Participating Budgeting exercise known as Celebrating Renfrewshire.  Appendix 1 to the report set out the funds allocated by this Local Partnership in 2024/25 and provided details of the current budget position.

Information on decisions made by Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership at the meetings held on 6 June and 28 November 2024 in terms of grants awarded was provided.  From an available budget of £43,639 awards to applicants had been made totalling £37,412.42, the balance remaining for 2024/25 was £6,226.58. 

The report recommended that the Erskine, lnchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership consider arrangements to ringfence the remaining balance of £6,226.58 to be spent during 2025/26 and allocated as part of 25/26 grant funding process in April 2025.

The report detailed in Appendix 2, the Local Priorities for Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership area. 





The report also provided information on the provision made within the budget of each of the seven Local Partnerships for community members of the Local Partnerships to claim a flat sum of £50 per year to offset expenses incurred in attending meetings.  To facilitate the process of claiming this expense members were advised that they should complete and return the form attached as Appendix 3.

DECIDED:

(a) That the contents of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership Update Paper be noted; 
(b) That the budget position be noted;
(c) That the balance of £6,226.58, which remained, be ringfenced and carried forward for consideration at the meeting of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership to be held on 30 April 2025; and
(d) Members to complete Appendix 3 to facilitate the payment of £50 expense, if required.
Consider appointment of new Vice Chair of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership.

Following the resignation of the Vice-Chair in November 2024, Councillor Campbell proposed that Jacqueline Doherty (Swing Park Regeneration Group) be appointed Vice Chair of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership, this was seconded by Councillor Mullin and was agreed unanimously.  

DECIDED That Jacqueline Doherty (Swing Park Regeneration Group) be appointed as Vice Chair of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership with immediate effect.

The Head of Climate, Public Protection & Roads advised members that Item 5 on the agenda should read Renfrewshire Community Transport not Renfrew Community Transport.  He further advised that funding of £25,000 had been granted for this and two buses had been secured which would be available for use throughout Renfrewshire.  This initiative was at an early stage and further information would be provided to a future meeting of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership.

DECIDED:  That further information on Renfrewshire Community Transport be provided to a future meeting of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership.

6.00 pm on 30 April 2025.
