EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
The Board may by resolution exclude the press and public from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, that if members of the press and public are present, there could be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1973.

Items Of Business
Consider and agree the short leet of candidates for the post of
Head of Education (Strategy and Improvement). Short leet packs
will be delivered separately to members of the Board.

There were submitted copies of the forms of application for the candidates for the post of Head of Education (Education and Strategy). The Board considered the applications in detail and agreed the short leet of four candidates who would be invited to attend the assessment centre on 10 September 2024 and interviews to be held on 24 September 2024.
DECIDED: That the short leet of candidates as agreed be invited to attend the assessment centre on 10 September 2024 and interviews to be held at the meeting of this Board on 24 September 2024.
