There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to an overview of the key context and evidence around current pressures on household finances, both in terms of household income and expenditure.
The report highlighted a number of changes in economic factors which included inflation, national living wage and tax credits.
DECIDED: That the report be noted.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to an overview of key indicators and their movement from the last reporting period, supported by additional statistical information, analysis and graphs which illustrated longer-term trends.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to key projects being progressed through the Fairer Renfrewshire Programme.
The report provided updates on current projects, highlighted future key priorities and gave an overview of the proposals, priorities and next steps for 2025.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to an overview of the proposed 2025/26 Fairer Renfrewshire programme which would be submitted to the Leadership Board in April 2025. Key priorities for officer/partnership focus during 2025/26 and funding were outlined within the report.

The Senior Planning & Policy Development Officer (Poverty & Equalities) gave a presentation relative to the Good Food Nation.
The presentation provided an overview on the legislative framework which governed the Good Food Nation, statutory oversights which included the commencement of the Scottish Food Commission in June 2025 and a summary of the duties placed upon Scottish Ministers and relevant authorities. The presentation also outlined the key priorities, stakeholder engagement consultations, a progress update on the work so far and a draft timeline to the submission of the first Good Food Nation Plan.
