There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to applications for funding from Gleniffer Local Partnership in 2024/25.
The report intimated that the available allocation for the Local Partnership was £53,264 with £350 ringfenced for community representatives’ expenses. It was noted that the budget available for allocation by this Local Partnership was £52,914 and that the total value of applications received for funding was £78,817.15.
The report advised that the Youth Challenge Fund component for 2024/25 amounted to £19,861 and it was noted that this funding would be allocated by young people through a participatory budgeting exercise which had taken place during May and June 2024 with decisions being announced in summer 2024.
Declarations of Interest
Bill Martin, Councillor Anne Hannigan and Jim Duffy having previously declared interests in applications for Local Partnership funding remained in the meeting but took no part in the discussion or voting on the applications they had declared interests in.

These proposals were agreed unanimously.
Following consideration of the applications for funding it was agreed that a report be submitted to the next meeting of the Local Partnership in relation to applications for funding in future financial years being considered by the Local Partnership in April or May of each year.
DECIDED:
(a) That it be agreed to award the grant applications as detailed above; and
(b) That a report be submitted to the next meeting of the Local Partnership in relation to applications for funding in future financial years being considered by the Local Partnership in April or May of each year.
