EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
The Board may by resolution exclude the press and public from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business as it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, that if members of the press and public are present, there could be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1973.
The Board resolved that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during
consideration of the following item of business as it was likely, in view of the nature of the
business to be transacted, that if members of the press and public were present, there
could be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of
Schedule 7A of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1973.
Items Of Business
Consider and agree the shortleet of candidates for the post of Director of Children's Services. Shortleeting packs will be delivered separately to members of the Board.

There were submitted copies of the forms of application for the candidates for the post of Director of Children's Services. The Board considered the applications in detail and agreed the short leet of candidates who would be invited to attend the assessment centre on 18 and 19 September 2023 and interviews to be held on 27 September 2023.
DECIDED: That the short leet of four candidates as agreed be invited to attend the assessment centre on 18 and 19 September 2023 and interviews to be held at the meeting of this Board on 27 September 2023.
