Erskine Inchinnan Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership Budget Monitoring Report – report by Chief Executive.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to the Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership Budget Monitoring report.
The report advised that funding provided to local community groups to undertake projects was allocated from the General Capital Fund, and through a Participating Budgeting exercise known as Celebrating Renfrewshire.
A table setting out the funds allocated by Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership in 2023/24 and current budget position was attached as an appendix to the report.
The report indicated that, in terms of application FR1098 awarded to SNACK, the organisation had previously indicated that it would be unable to use the funding for the purpose granted and had returned the £1,081.38 awarded.
DECIDED: That the Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership Budget Monitoring Report 2023/24, be noted.
Community Learning and Development Team Update - presentation by Chief Executive.

A presentation was made by the Senior Development Officer, Communities & Housing relative to the Community Learning and Development Approach. Youth Services supported young people and partners to access localised projects, including Renfrewshire Youth Voice and Young Scot services, in Renfrewshire.
An overview was provided of the main areas of responsibility and the wide range of activities undertaken by the Communities Learning & Development Section. Reference was made to the delivery of universal services, targeted provision, community capacity and connected communities initiatives and future partnership working with Local Partnerships.
DECIDED: That the presentation be noted.
Winter Connections - presentation by Chief Executive.

The Partnership Manager, Chief Executive’s Service, gave a presentation on the Winter Connections Programme, a network of local places where people could connect to others in their community this winter.
The presentation highlighted the purpose of the Winter Connections Fund which provided assistance to local groups to help cover the additional costs in making venues, activities and sessions available as part of the Winter Connection Programme. The presentation outlined the timeline and next steps for the programme.
DECIDED: That the content of the presentation be noted.
Members are asked to note that the date of the next meeting of the Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton & Langbank Local Partnership is to be confirmed.
