There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to the applications for Local Partnership grant funding.
The report intimated that the available allocation for Renfrew Local Partnership for 2023/24 was £115,403 once the sum ringfenced for expenses had been deducted, made up of £40,453 from the General Fund and £75,300 from Renfrew Common Good Fund.
The Youth Challenge Fund component of Renfrew Local Partnership Funding for 2023/24 was £18,657. This funding would be allocated by young people through a Participatory Budgeting exercise called Celebrating Renfrewshire that would take place during April and May 2023.
An initial assessment of the applications had been carried out by officers to support Local Partnership members in their decision-making. Applications that made clear reference to the Local Priorities identified by the Local Partnership were identified in the first table in the appendix to the report. Applications that made a partial or no reference to Renfrew Local Priorities were summarised in the second table in the appendix.
Following consideration, the Local Partnership agreed:
