Councillor Campbell declared an interest in item 3 of the agenda – Applications for Local Partnership Funding to Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership 2022/23 - as she was the Chair of the Board of Erskine Arts. Councillor Campbell indicated that as she had declared an interest, she would leave the meeting during any discussion and voting on the item. 

Councillor J MacLaren indicated that he had a connection to item 3 of the agenda – Applications for Local Partnership Funding to Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership 2022/23 - as he had assisted with the formation of the Bonnie Bishopton group. However, he indicated that he had applied the objective test and did not consider he had an interest to declare and intimated that it was his intention to remain in the meeting and to take part in any discussion or voting thereon.

Councillor Nicolson indicated that he had a connection to item 3 of the agenda – Applications for Local Partnership Funding to Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership 2022/23 - as he was a member of the Inchinnan Development Trust. There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to the provision of funding by the Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership to community groups to undertake projects.

The report advised that the funding was allocated from the General Grant Fund and, through a Participatory Budgeting exercise known as Celebrating Renfrewshire, the Youth Challenge Fund. 

A table setting out the funds allocated by Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership in 2021/22 and the current funding position was attached to the report.

DECIDED: That the report be noted.

There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to the applications for Local Partnership grant funding.

The report intimated that the available allocation for Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership for 2022/23 was £43,639.  An initial assessment of the applications had been carried out by officers to support Local Partnership members in their decision making. Applications that made clear reference to the Local Priorities identified by the Local Partnership were identified in the first table in the appendix to the report. Applications that made a partial or no reference to the Partnership's priorities were summarised in separate tables in the appendix.

The priorities of Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton and Langbank Local Partnership were detailed in the report.

Councillor Campbell having previously declared an interest in application FR1083 vacated the chair, left the meeting prior to its consideration and took no part in any discussion or voting thereon.

FR1083 Erskine Arts - Ringfence £6,980 to be awarded subject to queries around the number of people expected to take part in the project being answered to members' satisfaction.

Should the applications which were partially referred to the Village Investment Fund (FR1118 and FR1149) be unsuccessful in their applications then the amount awarded from this Partnership would be distributed to the other successful groups on a pro-rata basis.
