DECIDED:  That the Minute be approved.
Report by Chief Executive.

2
There was submitted a report by the Chief Executive relative to applications for Local Partnership funding in Gleniffer Local Partnership for 2020/21.

The report intimated that applications for funding from the Local Partnership had been invited to reflect the Local Partnership’s priorities of Community Assets, What’s on in Foxbar, Brediland and Glenburn, Public Safety and Road Safety, Isolation and Loneliness and Play Facilities.

The available allocation for Gleniffer was £52,214.  The sum of £50 per community representative required to be ringfenced for potential claims for administrative expenses, which left a balance of £51,864 for allocation.

The report advised that the Youth Challenge Fund component of Gleniffer’s funding, now known as Celebrating Renfrewshire, was £19,861.  This would be allocated by young people through a participatory budgeting process, which was currently underway.

The Chair referred to the recent workshop that had been held with Local Partnership members to agree a method for considering the applications, which had been agreed unanimously, by those members present at the workshop.  The Chair outlined the proposed method for those members who had been unable to attend the workshop and it was agreed to proceed on this basis.
